All prices are based on FOB our warehouse. Net 30 days can be arranged upon approval on open account, others will be C.O.D. or prepaid. Any past due account is subject to a financial charge at 2.5% on unpaid balance billed monthly. No further shipment will be honored until account is brought back to current. Service charges will apply to all returned checks. Unless you specify otherwise, Fersa will use a carrier and route of choice. Claim for loss or damage in transit should be made by you against the carrier. All goods are shipped at the customer’s risk: our responsibility ceases upon delivery in good order to the carrier.


Transport:

Door to door delivery performed by main international carriers is charged at 10% of total cost of invoice. If carrier charges are higher than total order we will inform you and request transport payment separately. All Fersa products are free of duties and proper documentation will be provided. A standard US $95.00 fee is customarily charged for any order below US$ 950.00 for door-to-door shipping. Fersa reserves the right to do so and each order is analyzed on an individual basis by our exports and sales departments.


Orders & Pricing:

To place an order it is necessary to issue a purchase order. Purchase orders need to be delivered by email or fax. Confirmation will be given within 24 hours of reception of the purchase order. 50% advanced deposit is required always unless you have an open account with Fersa, for orders starting at U$S 2,000, 50% advanced payment is always required. Balance will be due upon receipt of courier export documents. Production will begin after the deposit is credited in our U.S. bank account.

Prices are subject to change without notice. All shipments will be invoiced according to current prices in effect at time of order. All prices showed in price list are net prices in U$S dollars. We are not responsible for misprints or typographical errors.


Delivery:

Delivery is usually between five and seven weeks for hardware products and between 7 and 9 weeks for bathroom fittings and lighting fixtures.

Full performance by Fersa shall be deemed to have occurred upon shipment from Fersa. Fersa reserves the right to cancel or decline all or part of orders in which, the price, finish or quantity is not in agreement with Fersa’s policies. Shipping schedules are estimated based on our best judgment, but cannot be guaranteed, nor can these estimates be considered legally binding. We reserve the right to select final carrier of any shipment. When a customer specifies a route with higher rate, the difference will be added to the invoice. When delivered to the carrier, shipments become property of the purchaser who assumes the risk of loss or damage in transit.


Claims and Returns:

All claims for damages and shortages must be reported to Fersa in writing within 10 days after delivery. Returned goods will not be accepted without express written authorization and should be received within 30 days of invoice date. All stock items returned in original condition will be credited to customer’s account. Special order goods and finishes are not returnable, other than factory defect. Any product damaged in shipping due to customer negligence will not be accepted for return for credit. All returned goods must be shipped freight prepaid. 


Special Orders:

Special orders shall be customarily accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of 40%. Each project will be reviewed in an independent manner by one of our sales managers. A case by case analysis will be made in order to satisfy mutual needs.

Fersa Decorative Hardware offers a one Year Limited Warranty

This limited warranty is extended to all end-users of Fersa Decorative Hardware. Your Fersa product is warranted to be free from mechanical, manufacturing, materials, and workmanship defects. If such a defect occurs, Fersa will, at its option either repair or replace the defective product or materials. If replacement is elected, Fersa will not be responsible for installation or refinishing of replacement parts.

This limited warranty is valid for one (1) year from the date your Fersa product was originally purchased. The warranty of replacement products (including upgrades thereto) furnished pursuant to this warranty will be limited to the remainder of the warranty period of the original unit.

All non-brass finishes are plated over solid brass. While we believe the quality of our plating and lacquering to be superior, no plated finish can be guaranteed. Product durability is in direct relationship to the quality of the maintenance, weather conditions and proper installation.

The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other expressed warranties, and no person (including any agent, dealer, or representative) is authorized to make any representation or warranty concerning this product except to refer purchasers to this warranty.
